Happy Halloween Blog Hop!

It is 12:35 am right now so I can officially say Happy Halloween!  This year I've decided to take part in the Halloween Blog Hop hosted by Jo at Serendipitous Stitching.  For those of you who don't know each blog in the hop is given a letter and if you go to all of the blogs it spells out a phrase you can tell to Jo.  My letter is somewhat hidden in this post but easy to find :).  If you can't figure it out let me know.  As I'm posting I have a good Halloween Playlist on Youtube and a beer in my hand so life is good :).  Halloween Playlist

I have some big Halloween plans.  We're going out with one of my friends from work to a Halloween party.  We're almost certain we're going as Gomez and Morticia Addams.  We also have Jetsons costumes and he has an Alvin from Alvin and the chipmunks and I have the Evil Queen from Once Upon a Time.  We're still deciding.  I kind of am leaning toward Evil Queen since it means no wig but we'll see I like couples costumes as well.

But now to the important stuff: the stitching!  I was hoping to get at least the black of Halloween Red finished but I'm just short of my goal.  A lot more work than I was planning and I was visited by the Frog Prince a few times which slowed my progress.  I had to rip one part twice.  But I got a lot done.
I was focusing on this the whole week.  I have the little bit of red in it because I wanted to see what the contrast looked like.  It looks really good next to the blue and it's not done yet.
I also got some new stash.  Shelley at Tilton Crafts is having a sale where if you buy a chart you'll get a second exclusive chart free.  I don't know what the free chart is yet as you have until noon tomorrow to buy it but the one I bought is Santa's Workshop.
It will be a while until I start it because I want to finish one project first but it's got such pretty colors.  It reminds me a bit of stained glass.

Happy hopping everyone!  Your next blog will be Ishkabibble

Until next time,
Stay stitchy San Diego :)
